15 USC 1244 (2-4) Summary: Automatic opening knives (switchblades) can be shipped (1) any common carrier or contract carrier, with respect to any switchblade knives shipped, transported, or delivered for shipment in interstate commerce in the ordinary course of business; (2) the manufacture, sale, transportation, distribution, possession, or introduction into interstate commerce, or switchblade knives pursuant to contract with the Armed Forces; (3) the Armed Forces or any member or employee thereof acting in the performance of his duty; or (4) the possession and transportation upon his person, or any switchblade kn7è with a blade three inches or less in length by any individual who has only one arm. You, as a purchaser, upon purchase are agreeing that you are a “bonafide” buyer/dealer as described in 18 USC Section 1716 (g) (2) (1-4) and as such, do hereby represent and state that sales of automatic opening knives will only be made to those individuals and entities described in ix USC Section 1716 (g) (2) (1-4) and 15 USC Section 1244 (2-4).
